Sowal Bicycles
Bicycles Crafted for the Spirit of 30A
SoWal Bicycles: Crafted for the Spirit of 30A
Founded in 2015 in South Walton, Florida, SoWal Bicycles began with my passion for craftsmanship, timeless design, and the easygoing spirit of 30A. While I’m not currently offering bicycles for sale, the story continues. My love for the creative culture of South Walton is still very much alive.
Each SoWal Bicycle was thoughtfully designed to blend modern innovation with classic lines, capturing the relaxed elegance of days spent riding along the scenic highways and quiet beach roads of 30A. Whether you're coasting past the colorful cottages of Seaside, weaving through the nature trails of Grayton Beach, or heading to a local coffee shop in Rosemary Beach, these bikes were made to turn every ride into a lasting memory.
South Walton, often called SoWal, is a collection of charming beach communities along the 30A corridor. Known for its sugar-white sand beaches, turquoise waters, and vibrant arts scene, the area encourages a slower, more intentional way of living. Cycling isn’t just a pastime here. It’s a way of life. From family rides to sunset cruises, bikes are the thread that ties the community together.
Although I’m not building bicycles today, the spirit that inspired them is still with me.

Werewolves and Cheeseburgers Youth Adult Novel
Youth Adult Novel
Welcome to Seaside, a town where secrets are as deep as the ocean and just as dark.
When Josephine disappears without a trace, her sister Violet refuses to accept the whispers that she’s gone for good. As the search grows cold, the town’s once-vibrant spirit fades. Violet becomes more like a ghost than a girl, a spectral presence haunting the misty streets and weather-worn buildings of Seaside.
In a town steeped in melancholy and mystery, nothing is as it seems. Vuk Laboratories, a fortress of scientific innovation surrounded by dense woods, holds the promise of groundbreaking discoveries. But beneath its polished exterior lies something far more sinister. Sheriff Baker and Deputy Sue find themselves chasing shadows as they unravel the enigma of the white truck, a scarred man, and a lab with secrets that stretch the bounds of morality.
As Violet and her unlikely allies dig deeper into the mystery, they uncover something stranger and more terrifying than anyone imagined. Werewolves roam the edges of town, and their hunger for more than just food may be the key to finding the truth.
As the lines between fact and fiction begin to blur, Violet learns that some stories do not have happy endings. In a place where the light feels cold and the rain carries the chill of the ocean, she must confront the darkness that lives both in the shadows and within herself.

Given my background in marketing and innovation, I've also been contemplating alternative avenues for publicity, envisioning ways to draw attention to the novel should it find its way to publication.
Video game
Imagine a game blending the charm of '80s "Tapper" with an alluring twist. You're a server dishing out cheeseburgers, but these burgers turn patrons into wolves. As you progress, you switch between good and mischief, creating wolves or crafting antidote burgers to cure them. Pixel art and a synth soundtrack amp up the nostalgia. It's a dynamic, strategic journey that captures the essence of '80s gaming with a unique modern twist.

Made by Max
A Heartfelt Creation Inspired by Love for My Little Girls
A Heartfelt Creation Inspired by Love for My Little Girls
Made by Max was born out of love for my daughters and a desire to share something meaningful with them. It all started with a simple idea: we’re all fundamentally the same, just shaped by different traits and experiences.
I brought Max to life by creating fun, imaginative characters and an interactive story designed for the iPad. I teamed up with a group of amazing people who believed in the vision and brought their talent and heart to the project. Together, we built a downloadable iPad story that’s both adorable and engaging.
To make it even more special, we hand-stitched a collection of characters to go along with the story. It was a true labor of love, and one that still holds a special place in my heart.

Walton Skate Society
How to build a community skate park
How to build a community skate park
A while back, a group of like-minded people from the Surfrider Foundation’s Emerald Coast Chapter came together to advocate for a skate park. I was fortunate to support and collaborate with them as we launched the Walton Skate Society, a community-based initiative with a mission to build a local skate park, and that’s exactly what we did.
My involvement was more behind the scenes, stepping in to help whenever I could. Along the way, I contributed a few special pieces, including autographed skate decks from Tony Hawk and some custom skateboard designs I created myself. Here are some visuals of the designs I made.
